Liam Dunne

Liam has been at One Search since 2018 and leads our Equity practice in the EMEA region. He partners with many of the leading Private Equity & Venture Capital firms on mid to senior-level searches across Infrastructure, Energy Transition and Decarbonisation related sectors.

As well as supporting traditional infrastructure investors to grow their existing teams, Liam spends time advising non-traditional infrastructure investors seeking to launch infrastructure products in establishing formative investment teams. He has supported firms such as Antin Infrastructure Partners, Igneo Infrastructure Partners, InfraVia, Partners Group, and H.I.G. Infrastructure on multi-hire projects amongst others.   

Prior to One Search, Liam built the Infrastructure private equity offering for another search firm, where he initiated many of the key relationships and clients he’s continued to build upon today. He’s passionate about the Energy Transition and has become well-networked within “decarbonisation” investment. He’s built out teams to invest across this thematic and continues to advise various asset managers launching new products in this space on how to approach hiring effective investment teams in the nascent world of decarbonisation.   

Outside of work, Liam is a keen sportsman. He’s played football at a semi-professional level, but after heavy surgery on both knees, opted to pick up a far safer sport in boxing. He’s a passionate Chelsea supporter and has been a season ticket holder at Stamford bridge since the early 2000’s.
