Laurie Mahon

Laurie is an advisor to One Search’s Board. For several decades, she has been a leading light in the infrastructure world, touching almost every aspect of the sector; from helping to build New Jersey Transit as employee #2, to a successful career on Wall Street with Credit Suisse and others, to setting up her own advisory shop and leading the widening of the Panama Canal, to filling out the global infrastructure practice at McKinsey. Along the way, she also sat in the C-suite of a construction company developing waste-to-energy projects and filed hundreds of stories as a deadline journalist. She has truly seen it all.

In her final executive role, Laurie began the rebuild of CIBC’s infrastructure business in 2013, setting the direction of what has become a leading franchise across investment banking and project finance. She spent a decade with the bank, serving as Vice Chair of the investment bank before retiring from executive service in 2023 and building a portfolio career as a Non-Executive and Senior Advisor for a variety of businesses and asset managers.

Laurie currently serves as a Senior Advisor to Vauban Infrastructure Partners, a major European infrastructure investor, and is a member of the Board of Managers for National Renewable Solutions, LLC. She previously was a member of the Board of Directors of Infrastructure & Energy Alternatives, Inc. and served as a Senior Advisor to both Bechtel Corp. and Transurban North America.
