We recently spent a day at the Community Garden in Tooting, London
We supported students of all ages, from 12 years – 65 or more, with disabilities helping them to strive towards independence, build their confidence and assisting them with their development of soft skills.
It was an amazing day spent gardening, cutting wood, selling plants and making Christmas Wreaths. We enjoyed great chats with the students about their hobbies, family, friends.
A truly great experience, both mentally and physically, and I think we where more tired than them at the end of the day! All students showed impressive resilience – a great effort from everyone!
